The Freescan TRIO comes stand-alone with Einscan Scanning software and can be bundled optionally with: Geomagic Essentials, Control X Essentials or QUICKSURFACE Full Stand alone or Mesh2Surface plugin for SolidWorks software

FreeScan Trio is a new Metrology grade handheld laser 3D scanner for 3D scanning in Australia; offering 3 lasers and 'Marker free' scanning supporting a powerful multiline laser mode up to 98 cross lines as well as Photogrammetry mode. The laser mode is mainly used in industry scanning where most surface can be scanned without the addition of marker dots; with built in Photogrammetry mode is designed for large object scanning.

The Freescan Trio, with its hi res 3 x 5 megapixel cameras; weighing only 925gm, it also adds built in Photogrammetry scanning for larger projects.
Being a lightweight and portable metrology grade 3D scanner, it is equiped with 4 working modes:
