Print Size, Speed and Resolution
140 Wide X 140 Deep X 135mm High
Select the resolution you wish to print from 0.15mm (150 micron), 0.2mm, 0.25, 0.3, 0.4

Print Materials
Filament Size : 1.75 (ie: NOT 3mm)
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) thermoplastic : which is the same plastic as Lego. If you slice your models into parts, print them in components and then just glue using Acetone (nail varnish remover).
PLA (Polylactic acid): which is derived from corn and is biodegradable (over 5-15 years). The big advantage of printing with PLA is that it can be used for investment casting / lost wax casting. In general, PLA is not recommended for the UP machines, as they do not deal with this media as well

Each machine comes with a 12 month warranty.

Software

• The UP Plus 2 comes with formZ FREE and a 3 month FREE trial of formZ PRO 3D modelling software** for model creation, 3D model translation including .stl and design conceptualisation.
• Just open up your STL (Most 3D CAD software packages can export to STL) with the software you can rotate, scale and resize to your hearts content.
• Much like a traditional 2D where printer where you can choose different settings, you can also choose your 3D print settings. Layer thickness, fill type (Honeycomb hollow or solid), quality and amount of Smart Support you want for each print.
