FastStream™ Storage Controllers are high-performance, scalable RAID controllers that deliver data protection for applications in DVA and IT infrastructures including 4K and 2K digital film production, high-definition video post-production, digital pre-press, imaging, disk-to-disk backup, audio post, email compliance, data warehousing, data mining and transaction based environments.
The FastStream SC 8500 features leading-edge technology providing 8Gb/s Fibre Channel connectivity to low-cost SATA or high-performance SAS storage enclosures. Designed as a 1U external storage controller, the FastStream provides RAID protection, ease-of-use features and has one-button setup wizards tuned for video, audio, database and general IT environments.
FastStream Storage Controllers enable small workgroups to implement a shared storage workflow without the need for a Fibre Channel switch.
